- A username you’ll remember. You’ll type it every time you log in.
- A strong, unique password. One you don’t use for email, banking or social media.
- You’re 18 or over. Registering is for adults only.

Why check the address first?
Clone sites copy the register screen too. If you sign up on a fake page, you hand over your new password and phone number before you’ve even started.
A padlock alone doesn’t prove a site is real. Read the domain, and skip links from random DMs or posts.

Choose a strong password
Your password is the main thing between your account and everyone else.
- Go long. Three or four random words joined together are easier to remember and harder to guess than one short word.
- Make it unique. Don’t reuse a password from another site. If that site leaks, yours is next.
- Skip the obvious. No birthdays, phone numbers, IC numbers, your name or “123456”.
- Mix it up if the form asks for it: capitals, numbers and a symbol.
- Keep it to yourself. Not in a chat, not with a friend, not with anyone claiming to be support.
Where should I keep it?
A password manager on your own phone is the safest place. If you write it down, keep it somewhere private, not in a screenshot or a note you share.

Log in with your new username and password so you know they work. Check caps lock if they don’t.

Bookmark the H5 page or add it to your home screen. Next time, open your saved link instead of searching.
- Set up any security options
If the site offers extra security settings, take a minute to turn them on. Follow what’s on your screen.

The username is taken
Someone already has it. Add a word or a few numbers that mean something to you, and write the final version down somewhere private so you don’t forget it.
The code doesn’t arrive
Check your signal and that you typed your number correctly. Wait a minute before asking for another code, and look in any spam or filtered SMS folder.
The form won’t submit
Look for a field marked in red, a password that doesn’t meet the rules shown, or a box you still need to tick. Autofill sometimes adds wrong details, so check each field.
The page freezes or reloads
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, clear your browser cache or open a private tab, then start the form again from the H5 link.
